Terms of Use

Last updated: August 29, 2026

These terms cover how you may use the Otter Pouch website and the games we make. They're written to be read, not skipped, so if anything's unclear just ask.

Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing, or playing one of our games — or by using this website — you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them. Simple as that.

Our games

Our games are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You can install them on devices you own or control. You can't sell, rent, sublicense, modify, or reverse-engineer them, and you can't use them to build your own competing product.

App Store distribution

If you download a game through the Apple App Store, you're also bound by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies on top of these terms. Where they conflict, Apple's terms govern the distribution and billing side of things.

Ownership

The games, this website, the Otter Pouch name and otter mascot, and all the art, sound, and code inside them belong to Otter Pouch (or the creators who licensed them to us). Using our stuff doesn't transfer any ownership to you. Please don't copy or redistribute it.

Fair play

Play nice. Don't use our games to harass anyone, cheat in ways that spoil it for others, distribute harmful software, or do anything illegal. We reserve the right to stop providing the games if you misuse them.

Purchases and content

Our current games are free of ads. If a game offers paid content, the store's own payment terms apply, and we'll make the price and what you get clear before you commit. All purchase prices are set by the store you buy through.

No warranties

We build our games with care and test them thoroughly, but they're provided "as is." We don't promise they'll be free of bugs or that they'll run on every device or operating system combination. Where the law doesn't allow us to disclaim certain things, only the minimum required by law applies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Otter Pouch won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that come from using or being unable to use our games. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that can't be waived under your local consumer law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our games and the law evolve. We'll post the revised version here with a new date. By keeping on playing after an update, you accept the revised terms.
